Are You Ready for EMV 2015?

Short Report

  • By October 1, 2015, you need to be EMV (chip card) compliant.
  • This is to reduce fraud and increase security across the U.S.
  • You will be held liable for fraudulent charges that happen in your system if you don’t meet these new standards.
  • As of September 1, 2015, Service Autopilot will no longer store credit card information. That means, if you have not converted to BluePay, OpenEdge, or Authorize.net CIM, all credit card information will be
    lost for good.

How is SA preparing?

Service Autopilot has been gearing up for this change by focusing our efforts on increasing our security and helping our members meet industry standards. We are starting early, which means that by September 1 we will no longer store any credit card information on Service Autopilot.

What do YOU need to do?

Step 1: Choose a Solution | 3 Options:

  1. Switch to BluePay - No additional cost per month
  2. Switch to OpenEdge - No additional cost per month
  3. Upgrade to Authorize.net Client Information Manager (CIM) - $20 a month

Step 2: Let Us Know Your Decision

After you decide on one of the three options in Step 1, call 972.728.4040 or click ‘request a call’ on the right. Either Bryan or Chris will walk you through migrating your credit card numbers.

Step 3: Relax, You’re Done!

After you have completed Step 1 & 2 you can breathe in, breathe out, and continue using Service Autopilot exactly how you have used it before. You are in compliance, your credit cards are safe, and you have happy clients.
