Patrick taught Cody to Walk (and Market) | The Profit Roadmap

Published on November 6, 2017

Patrick Hoffman, marketing guru and writer on this blog, is back in the studio. He wants to give you some Marketing 101. We're diving into Facebook Ads and 9 (or 12 or 5) Arounds on this episode.

Marketing Your Business doesn't have to be Hard

You don't need an MBA or a consultant. You need good copy (check out the recent episode with Jonathan Pototschnik for tips) and some good ways to get that copy in front of eyeballs.

Patrick unpacks the idea of 9-Arounds on this episode. They're super simple. Even Bear and Cody could do it. Use 'em to build route density for minimal investment. Low-risk, high reward: that's the taste of having your cake and eating it too. You're welcome.

We also get into the exciting world of digital ads on Facebook. These are the first place to advertise your business online. Facebook holds your hand while you get your feet wet and you can graduate to Google Adwords later.

Don't be afraid of branching out beyond word-of-mouth and flyers-on-bulletin-boards. You built a business, you can sell its services with the best of them.

What's Next? Patrick, where's Marketing 102?

As I mentioned earlier, Patrick writes on our blog. He's got a really solid next set of steps, once you've mastered 9-Arounds and Facebook ads (gosh, you might need more employees if you've mastered those client-sources).

"I followed Patrick's advice and now I need more employees to do all this work."

We got you.

There are a bunch of mistakes you can make hiring for the green industry, avoid them.

Cleaners, don't fall for the common hiring mistakes in your field either.

If you've gotten this far, you're killing it. Keep up the great work and we look forward to seeing you at the top of the industry.

Marketing Your Small Business is a Full-Time Job

But at Service Autopilot and The Profit Roadmap, we try to take away as much of that burden as possible. We want you focused on making your business better, not figuring out tedious stuff.
