Release Notes Part 2

With this release, we introduce a much-awaited enhancement to Service Autopilot: the Payroll Report and Wall Clock Features!

We have made some additional updates and bug fixes since the last release, based on Member feedback.

Payroll Report

Service Autopilot’s new Payroll Report feature calculates overtime and regular pay for hourly employees whose time you track.

Note: This feature is not a full payroll system: it doesn’t calculate tax or create paychecks, but you can download the information from Payroll Report to a spreadsheet that you send to a third-party payroll company.

Wall Clock

You now can set up a device such as a spare tablet computer, as a company Wall Clock. With this new feature, employees and vendors can clock in and out at the office by logging in with a PIN. Time records go directly to the Timesheet feature.

Automations

SendJim Integration

You can now access SendJim on the Integrations page. When integrated, the Marketing Event will display in Automations so SendJim Quick Sends that you create can be sent out automatically through SA.

Automation Screens

We spruced up Automations screens so the name and description are easier to see.

Dispatch Board Scrolling

To help you see information on the Dispatch Board, we’ve simplified scrolling.

Client Search Field

We’ve changed the Search menu a bit to make searching easier. We’ve also brought back the “Recents” list, which shows the most recent client screens you’ve visited.

Wiki Pages are Back

Due to popular demand, we’ve brought back the Wiki link under the Avatar Menu

Adding a Job with “+” (Quick Add) Button

When you click the + (Quick Add) button on a job, a menu prompts you to select the type of job. Click one of the options to Add a Job.

You also can add a package + (Quick Add) button.

Other Changes

Banner Messages

Messages on the new site-wide banner will no longer disappear permanently when you click the X. If you want to dismiss the message, click the button.

Opt In/Out Links and Form Links in Document Editor

The merge tags for form links and the opt-in and opt-out link are now back in the Document Editor.

Service Date on Invoice Grid

You can now add the Service Date to an Invoice Grid.

Company Name on Navigation Bar

Long company names were causing display issues with the new navigation bar, so we’ve limited the number of characters in the Display Name field on the Company Information screen.

Bug Fixes

Estimates in Startup Subscription

Previously, Members with SA Startup subscription were not able to attach a PDF to estimates. This has been fixed.

“See More” on To Dos and Calls

In some cases, text for “See More” information was spilling off the screen. This has been fixed.

Bulk Printing Invoices

Previously, when bulk printing invoices, the system was not printing them in the specified format. This has been fixed.
