Service Autopilot

Document Editor: Document Templates Available
You now can select standard templates from a dropdown list in the Document Editor.

The News–It's Everywhere
Instead of going to the My Day screen for SA announcements, you now can see important updates on a message banner that appears at the top of all Service Autopilot windows. The banner remains on the screen until you dismiss it.

Member Support Email Editor
We updated the Email Editor under the HELP > Email that lets you contact Member Support. That email editor is now consistent with the other editors in Service Autopilot such as the Email Overlay.

New Format for Estimates Template
We updated the Estimates template to our new design. To see the template, first create a new Estimate Document and click Save.

Rate Matrix Shortcut
If you are creating a new service, you can now go to another service, copy its rate matrix, and customize the rate matrix if needed.


New Trigger: Contract is About to Expire
We added a new trigger for "Contract is About to Expire" that can run once a day. It will look at all contracts for the client.

New Condition: Contract is About to Expire
We added a new "Contract is About to Expire" condition that can be used in Start, Stop, and If/Else conditions. It will look at all contracts for the client.


Confirmation and Internal Emails
We updated the Confirmation and Internal Emails on Forms to have similar options to Automations for things such as sending emails to and from a CSR, Sales Person, the branch, etc.

The From (sender) options were updated to:

  • Custom Email (input a custom email address)
  • Company Email
  • Branch Email
  • CSR
  • Sales Person
  • Employee (select any employee)
  • Vendor (select any contractor)

The To (recipient) options were updated to:

  • Custom Email (input a custom email address)
  • CSR
  • Sales Person
  • Resources
    • Employee (select any employee)
    • Vendor (select any)
  • Roles (select any role)
  • Confirmation Emails only (these options previously existed, along with additions form the list above):
    • Billing Email
    • Contact Email
    • Email Form Field

Improved Security on Forms and Emails
We now offer improved user authentication with Google reCAPTCHA on embedded form options and in email throughout SA. You can turn on Google reCAPTCHA from the Form Layout tab when editing a form. After that, the ReCAPTCHA authentication will appear in the following:

  • Filling out a form from anywhere in SA
  • Client Portal
  • Hosted Form Publish Option
  • Embed Code Publish Option

ReCAPTCHA authentication will not display for:

  • Full Form Publish Option
  • Stripped Form Publish Option

Mobile App, Team App

Time Entries Include Lunch Breaks
You now can create timesheet records for "Lunch Break" on the Mobile App and Team App (beta).

User Guides

  • New: Chemical Tracking User Guide walks you through setting up the Chemical Tracking feature in SA.
  • New: Automations Triggers & Conditions User Guide defines all triggers and conditions used in Automations.
  • Updated: Automations User Guide has some minor updates.
  • Updated: Payroll & Timesheets User Guide has some minor updates.

Bug Fixes


  • Some client credit cards that were already expired were being picked up in the "Credit Card is About to Expire" trigger. This has been fixed.
  • Within Automations, we now display the "Job Date" wait period option for "Days Before" and "Days After" when the "Job was Completed" trigger is added to the sequence.
  • The "My Account" screen sometimes showed an incorrect amount for the Two-Way Texting subscription, based on the subscription level. This has been fixed.
  • Sometimes, the Working panel on the Automation Edit screen would display and then disappear before the automation was fully loaded. This has been fixed.
  • Form response exports sometimes caused an error if some form responses were older and various modifications had been made to the fields on the form. This has been fixed.
  • We fixed a bug with very lengthy forms not displaying properly on the Client Portal when selecting "Use Client Portal URL"


  • Previously, forward slashes "/" were removed from URLs that were input in the "Website" field on forms. This has been fixed.
  • Sometimes, the "Do not Overwrite" option on Forms fields for Custom Fields was not working. This has been fixed.
  • We fixed a bug where tags on field conditions for Forms were not being added or removed properly if the option it was comparing against contained a dollar sign.
  • You now can specify the "Default Value" field on the Form Editor, so it is no longer limited to 100 characters.
  • We fixed a visual problem that could happen when apostrophes or quotation marks were used as an option on forms.
